Kate Licciardello, LMHC (she/her)

Kate is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who received her Masters in Holistic Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Salve Regina University.

Kate has six years of full-time experience as a therapist, working with both individuals and groups. She’s facilitated group therapy, workshops, and meditation classes. In her 1:1 work, she describes ideal clients as folks who have fallen into patterns of people pleasing, perfectionism and over functioning.

Kate has been a student of mindfulness and meditation for twelve years, born out of the desire to navigate her own anxious tendencies. She believes we can also develop the skills to show up as a true friend to ourselves, turning toward ourselves with both patience and honest accountability, rather than attempting to bulldoze into self-improvement.

Kate’ style is warm, collaborative, reflective and attuned. She primarily works through the lens of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (mindfulness tools, self-compassion skills, values clarification and alignment) and Polyvagal Theory (nervous system education and healing). Kate is dedicated to an anti-oppressive, antiracist, trauma-informed approach. Kate values holding space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys dance and meditation classes, walking by the ocean, reading library books, drinking iced coffee(s), giggling with friends and being the first to leave their parties.
